On October 7th, 2021, during a special council meeting, the Fallon Business Council approved an one-time heating assistance program funded out of the CARES Act. The Fallon Business secured 5-semi loads of 10ft pine logs, 30 tons of firewood pellets, and set-aside money for propane and heating oil for the community. From now till Dec. 10th we will be accepting applications for the assistance. The wood and pellets will be divided equally with the applications we receive. FBC would like to give a special Thanks to the TERO workers and Housing Staff for all their hard work bucking (cutting logs into rounds), splitting and stacking the firewood.
